Vested Service Credit Policy

Vested Service Credits are prepaid service units that may be applied toward invoices for coordination and maintenance services performed through Vested Property Care (VPC). Each credit provides $75 in Service Credit Value. Credits do not apply to licensed trade work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, structural), which is billed separately with coordination fees quoted per project.

The price of a Vested Service Credit includes both the service credit value and a coordination fee that covers VPC's scheduling, vendor management, quality oversight, and documentation services.

Plan subscribers save $10 per credit compared to standalone pricing. Credits included with subscription plans are automatically applied each billing cycle.

When VPC performs coordination and maintenance services for your home, the cost is invoiced and your available Vested Service Credits are applied at $75 per credit. Credits apply to unlicensed coordination services such as home watch, inspections, vendor scheduling, oversight, and documentation. You can view your current Service Credit Value and transaction history in your customer portal.

If your Service Credit Value does not fully cover a coordination services invoice, a 25% coordination fee applies to the uncovered amount. You will receive a 48-hour grace period to purchase additional credits before the fee is applied. This incentivizes maintaining a sufficient credit balance.

Licensed trade work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, structural) is billed separately — vendors invoice you directly for the work performed. VPC's coordination fee for overseeing licensed projects is quoted per project based on scope and complexity.

Vested Service Credits must be used within 24 months of purchase. Unused credits expire after 24 months and cannot be reinstated.

For plan subscribers, unused credits roll over from month to month as long as the subscription remains active. Credits do not expire during an active subscription period, but the 24-month expiration applies from the original date of purchase or issuance.

Subscription plans may be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your remaining Vested Service Credits until they expire. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.

Vested Service Credits may be purchased as gifts for other individuals through VPC's gift credit feature. Gift credits are delivered via a unique, single-use redemption code.

Gift credits are subject to the same terms as standard credits: they are prepaid service units, non-refundable, have no cash redemption value, and expire 24 months after the recipient redeems the gift code.

Credits are non-transferable except through VPC's gift credit feature. Gift codes cannot be resold and are valid for single use only.
